The pairing with Inter for body text is the move because Inter disappears. It doesn't compete with the mono headings. It just delivers information cleanly. The contrast between the angular, technical heading and the neutral body creates a hierarchy that reads fast. Like a well-formatted terminal output that happens to look premium.
The background isn't black. That's the whole trick. Pure black is harsh, flat, and lifeless on screens. Nightfall's background has a cool blue undertone that creates depth before you've even added a single element. Your eyes register "space" instead of "void."
